Join my RAMP up your Sustainability program for help in making simple, affordable changes

Let's address the elephant in the room. You like Let's address the elephant in the room.

You like your holidays abroad, which often means having to fly.

You like cheese, so a vegan diet is off the plate (☺️)

Solar panels and heat pumps come at a price and you've no idea whether EV's are the most sustainable option even if you could afford one.

But just because you're resistant to the BIG stuff doesn't mean you can't make a difference elsewhere.

Focusing on small changes in your lifestyle seems pointless.

But every week I speak to people who have made changes. Almost every conversation I have with someone new, they volunteer ways they have made an effort to be that bit more eco-friendly.

I see it so often. So don't be thinking it's just you - it really isn't.

Sustainable living is a quiet revolution (to pinch a phrase from Zoë Roddis)

It's easier than ever to buy preloved, there are many many eco brands and zero waste stores to choose from and plastic carrier bags have been all but replaced by reusable bags for our supermarket shop.

So while the big stuff feels out of reach, focusing on what you can change is the way forward.

You have much more power than you realise.

There are 3 weeks left in which to sign up for my RAMP up your Sustainability program.

Realistic, Affordable, Manageable and Practical changes to your everyday habits.

We know this is how to make lifestyle changes that stick.

So DM me today for details on joining my next group of eco conscious women.

It's that simple.

We've all been caught out by buying something in a rush, then finding it takes a long time to arrive - because it's come from the other side of the planet.

By simply adding UK to your criteria, you can reduce the footprint of that item and support the UK economy... ideally by buying from a small local business.

For every £10 spent with a local business, £2.26 is recirculated within the local community.

I'd call that an all round win.

At last!! We have blue sky and sunshine AND tempe At last!!

We have blue sky and sunshine AND temperatures in the double figures. ☀️

And my goodness it makes a difference doesn't it?

My morning call was cancelled today so I took the opportunity to get out for an early walk.
It was blissful!

I even spotted the first daffodils.

If you're in need of some fresh air, Wednesday is going to feel distinctly Spring like.

Spring is my favourite season as it's when nature comes alive!

Flowers, insects and newborn lambs in the fields.

I'm ready for it!

Are you feeling your energy shift?

Today, I'm feeling all the feels. I'm not going t Today, I'm feeling all the feels.

I'm not going to lie, yesterday, I got a little emotional.

I held the Final review session for last years March intake - and the feedback from these women left me bursting with pride.

We reviewed the progress they've made since the start of my RAMP program - and as I sat and listened to these ladies talk about the changes they've made, I was overcome with how much more confident they felt about the difference they were making.

The enthusiasm radiated from them. The realisation of how far they'd come had dawned. And the gratitude we all felt for going on this journey together was a real moment.

So the Class of March 2025 - thank you from the bottom of my heart for your commitment to making those small changes that stick and for showing up for yourself, your family and their future.

These ladies are all busy juggling work, families, kids - and still chose to set 1hr a month aside to take those all important steps towards treading more lightly on this planet.

And their reward is a new found mindset, an inner confidence - and a copy of my Guide to Sustainable Living to refer back to at any time.

I am beyond proud.

When you're ready to step in to your power, I am here.

The next intake kicks off on 23rd March.

When you've spent an hour cleaning the kitchen, then your daughter decides to make granola!

Don't get me wrong, I love the fact she enjoys baking, but granola must be THE single messiest thing you can possibly make. 😅 🫣

How are you feeling? Did you make the most of the How are you feeling?

Did you make the most of the sunshine on Saturday? 🌞

It was glorious in the Midlands so I made sure I spent as much time outside as possible! And I felt so much better for it.

The endless grey days and seemingly relentless rain can affect us more than we realise.

Does this sound familiar?

👉You're a little lower on energy

👉You're not sleeping quite as well

👉Your mood is affected too

The last few weeks haven't given us much opportunity to get outdoors - and the lack of sun has quite an affect.

We're more prone to stay indoors and avoid the cold and rain.

Lack of fresh air and exercise impacts our sleep, which in turn affects our energy levels.

On Saturday, I took my daughter in to town to meet a friend. While they were spending time together, I mooched around the local charity shops. They were so busy!

And that got me thinking...

If we've all been sheltering at home, we've not been supporting local businesses, which will impact the local economy.

If we're feeling more lethargic, is that going to reduce our efficiency at work? This will ultimately affect the economy too.

We know that global warming is affecting our weather patterns. In the UK this means less cold bright days and more milder wetter weather.

I know which I'd prefer.

Is the impact on our mental and physical health, plus potential impact this will have on the economy, something we're preparing for? 🤔

Have you noticed whether you're feeling different?
We judge ourselves far too harshly. How often do We judge ourselves far too harshly.

How often do we get annoyed with ourselves for making a snap decision we regret afterwards?

How often do we feel guilty as we've not been in touch with that old friend in ages?

How often do we feel like we're not being 'the best version of ourselves'?

We feel we should be the best at everything, doing the best for everyone and making the best decisions at all times.

But life just isn't like that, especially today when there's so much noise.

And then there's the mental load!
It's a lot.

So my approach is built on kindness and encouragement.

I offer support and knowledge with a sprinkling of realism.

In fact the RAMP of my RAMP up your Sustainability program says it all:

Realistic
Affordable
Manageable
Practical changes to everyday habits.

There's no room for judgement or preaching. I don't believe this is the way to encourage others to make lifestyle changes when they're already up against it.

So I only ask for 1 hour of your time a month for our sessions.

And I offer all the support you need in between, particularly in making those impossible decisions around which brands you can trust.

Knowing where to start, how to do the research and what to look out for are skills you'll have for life.

So stop giving yourself a hard time for not doing as much as you think you should - and message me today.

A link to the program details is in my bio if you'd like a cheeky browse first.

RAMP has been designed by a busy woman, for busy woman - so know I'm on your side.

"I'm just 1 person, what difference can I make?" "I'm just 1 person, what difference can I make?"

What if instead, 8 billion people thought
"I can make a difference so let's go for it"

What's the worst that can happen?

🫶We end up with a cleaner planet?

💚We dramatically reduce the impact that's causing our planet to destabilise?

💪We all feel empowered instead of suffering with eco-anxiety.

But where to start?
Go easy on yourself and look at what you do daily to build up the impact more quickly.

1 of my favourite tips is to make sure you put the lid on your pan when cooking on the hob, as this helps the water to boil a little quicker.

Then, set the timer to turn off a few minutes early and leave the food to continue cooking in the boiling water.

By saving around 5 minutes each day, this equates to 24 hours worth of power over a year. 🤯

And that's just 1 change. A change that will save you money as well as reduce your impact.

Makes you think doesn't it?

Where else can you make simple changes?

There are so many easy tweaks to our daily routines that all make a difference. And when you know others are doing the same, our collective action really builds.

Want to know more?

Drop me a message and I'll tell you more about the difference You can make.

Back in the day, I used to call myself something d Back in the day, I used to call myself something different.

When I first started to pay attention to what was happening to our planet, we didn't use the term "eco-friendly" we used the term "environmentally friendly"

And I think we should re-introduce it.

Environmentally friendly feels more connected to this planet that we rely on for everything that's important to us.

When we think of "eco-friendly" we tend to think of global warming and climate change, which means reducing our carbon footprint.

However the term "environmentally-friendly" is much more aligned with the earth, water and air - all the vital elements for our survival.

Yet what we're doing to our earth, water and air is pretty shocking.

We're systematically poisoning the very environment we live in.

Our water is full of microplastics, oil spills, chemicals from industrial run off and sewage!

The earth we use to grow our crops is being damaged too. More microplastics, more pollutants.

Studies show we have around 40 years worth of quality farmable land left because of the damage we're causing. Let that sink in for a minute.

The pesticides used to kill bugs (and bees) doesn't just land on the plants it's sprayed over, it lands on the soil. And when we wash our food at home (please tell me you wash your food!) - the pesticides run off in to our waterways.

The air we're breathing isn't exactly in great shape either. The air in our homes is 2 to 5 times more polluted than the air outside due to all the hidden toxins in our homes.

But there's such little awareness, so how are you supposed to know where to start?

The information is out there when you go looking for it. VOC's, phthalates and 'perfume' are all things we've heard of - but do you know the damage they could be causing to your health?
Allergens, endocrine disruptors, even carcinogens are hidden in some of the regular items you have in your home.

I know it's overwhelming, that's why many of the ways we can be more 'environmentally friendly' and subsequently improve our physical wellbeing are covered in my sessions.

The next group intake for my RAMP up your Sustainability program is next month, so message me today for details.
So here's the thing. We're so much more powerful So here's the thing.

We're so much more powerful than we realise ladies.

Here we are, quietly getting on with life, head down focusing on the next task, then the next one.

However by tweaking the way you do those tasks, you can really step in to your power.

Simple changes to daily routines count for a LOT. And these can be as easy as reducing the flow of your shower or when you run the tap to wash your hands.

Think about how easy that is.

And then notice the confidence shifts as you look for the next thing you can tweak, then the next.

The inner glow from knowing you're making a difference becomes quite addictive.

So the search for other small changes continues, and within a short space of time your entire mindset around what living more sustainably really means has shifted.

It creeps up on you, slowly but surely.

Are you ready to have your very own Environ-mentor show you the way?
